North Carolina is a beautiful state, with something to offer everyone. We have mountains, beaches, big cities, and small towns…it’s what makes this state so amazing. But it also means that the seasons can vary pretty drastically! When Ali and Aaron booked a May wedding in Cedric’s Garden at the Biltmore, they expected a warm, sunny day. Mother Nature had different plans, though.
Cold, rainy, and full of love!
All couples who wake up on the morning of their wedding to cloudy skies and soggy grounds are, understandably, a little stressed. Pictures, hair and makeup, formal attire, transportation…all big parts of a wedding day that can be impacted by inclement weather. But it’s so important to remember that at the end of the day, it’s all about getting married! And, nine times out of ten, your pictures will still be amazing, and your guests will still be on time. And if none of that helps calm you, just wait until you see your love. That will definitely make your worries disappear. 🙂 Or at least, it did for this sweet couple!
And that mountain fog makes it extra dreamy! Throw in an umbrella, and suddenly it’s like an old Hollywood film…😍 Simply amazing. This is where having a great photographer becomes so important, and Kate Grossman nailed it!
Cedric’s Garden at The Biltmore
Ali worked with the venue manager and florist to design a seriously beautiful ceremony and reception space. (And shout out to The Biltmore’s staff, who seamlessly executed the fastest room flip I have ever seen!) It all came together so beautifully, creating the perfect night for one of my favorite couples.
Congratulations again to you both! Your love for each other is the stuff dreams are made of!
