When Patrick and Kiara booked me to be their wedding coordinator, I lived (literally) five minutes from the venue. A few months later, we relocated a few hours away, so I loved having an excuse to head back out to one of my favorite venues for a Cross+Main wedding in my favorite little North Carolina town, Youngsville.
I actually wrote a venue feature about this venue last year, when it had a different name. Cross+Main is now owned by Rocky Top Catering, which means you get exposed brick, small town charm, AND delicious food! The trifecta of modern wedding perfection!
The simple details
Kiara chose to keep her decorations simple and feminine, which is my favorite way to decorate a space like this. The light florals and touches of rose gold sparkle in the candlelight really popped against the exposed brick and hardwood floors. We spent a little bit of time trying to decide how to decorate for the ceremony. We discussed a few different things, going back and forth on Pinterest, but ultimately settled on these tall floating candle vases from the florist. When we flipped the space for the reception, we put the sweetheart table there, and were able to use the floating candles again. It was so beautiful.
It was just such a stunning event! And of course, Patrick and Kiara are an adorable couple with gorgeous family and friends, too! (Also, can we take a moment to appreciate that the flower girl got a matching floral robe, too!? AH! 😍)
I loved getting to work with this sweet couple, their family, and some of my favorite vendors! It was one of the smoothest weddings I’ve ever worked, and that only happens when everybody works together as a team. Can’t wait to follow along with Patrick and Kiara in the future–congratulations, you two! Please never stop doing your signature dip! 😉
